Who is Jesus?

Okay, I know the video quality is really bad. They will get better, and one day I can look back on this and laugh. I will be posting more interviews soon. This is a sample.

I spoke with many people the other day about God, Jesus, and heaven. It is interesting how many people have never really tried to figure out what they think about Jesus. Most will say he was the greatest person that ever lived. But even people who attend church are often stumped when you get down to the question, "Who was he, really?"

We will continue this discussion in the future. For now, let's focus on what the Bible says is the most important thing to know about Jesus. Jesus himself put it this way, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Jesus is truth. He is also the way we can know God. That's right, according to the Bible, without Jesus there would be no way to know God. That is because he paid the price for our sins. God is a just God. He cannot let anyone who has sinned into heaven. Sin must be punished, and all of us have sinned. But we can receive forgiveness and be right with God again by allowing Jesus to forgive our sins. Without Jesus and the sacrifice he made, this would not be possible.

How does one accept this gift? By putting your faith in Jesus to forgive you. By turning away from your sins and committing yourself to God. By calling on God to forgive you through Jesus Christ. I welcome questions and comments from all those searching and seeking truth.

God bless!
